Insanity and Fear

At first it was some sort of concept for a god of blood or something similar but it sort of morphed into this,which seems to fit a bit more. it's slightly eerie and not much i can say about it. 
in the last sketch i did i was asked to do some sort of step by step thing, it was for the monsters i draw, but i've had a little bit of trouble thinking of a type of monster so i took pictures of this one as i went along.
